Commercial Drywall Project Manager

gpac is working with a leading commercial construction firm specializing in high-quality drywall installation and finishing services. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional results and exceeding client expectations. They are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Commercial Drywall Project Manager to join their team.

Responsible for overseeing commercial drywall projects from planning to completion. This role involves managing schedules, budgets, teams, and ensuring high-quality, code-compliant work. Strong leadership, drywall expertise, and effective communication with clients and subcontractors are essential.

Key responsibilities include:

Project management: Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders.

Team leadership: Supervise drywall crews and subcontractors. Monitor daily progress and hold team meetings.

Budget & cost control: Track costs, manage budgets, prepare estimates, and negotiate with vendors.

Quality & safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Conduct site inspections.

Client relations: Serve as primary contact for clients. Provide updates and resolve issues promptly.

Problem solving: Anticipate project risks and resolve conflicts as needed.

Documentation: Maintain records, including contracts, reports, and change orders.

Qualifications include:

5+ years of commercial drywall project management experience

Strong knowledge of drywall systems, codes, and safety standards

Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) and MS Office

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred

PMP and OSHA 30 certification a plus
