Project Engineer

-Develop and review work plans, submittals, RFIs, and take-offs.
- Ensure all moving parts are accounted for to complete the building.
- Coordinate daily with subcontractors to discuss progress, address issues, and plan upcoming tasks.
- Conduct site inspections to break down work plans and identify potential errors or issues that might arise.
- Assess and understand the coordination needs prior to the commencement of construction activities.
- Provide training and support to current Project Engineers to reduce their stress and improve their efficiency.
- Oversee the construction of major structures such as the East and West Chemical Buildings, treatment buildings, filters, chlorine contact basins, and gravity thickeners.
- Plan and manage the integration of new structures with existing ones, including pumps and piping processes.
- Utilize Bluebeam Studio for documentation, markups, and collaboration on project plans.
- Summarize daily progress, update checklists, and prepare for the next day's activities.

Required Skills & Experience
o Minimum of 3-years of experience as a Project Engineer in civil engineering.
o 2-3 years of heavy civil plant work experience, specifically in wastewater and water treatment plants.
o Understanding of mechanical systems, process piping, process equipment, and overall plant processes.
o Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
o Experience with Bluebeam, particularly in navigation. cal systems, process piping, process equipment, and overall plant processes. - Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications. - Experience with Bluebeam, particularly in navigation.
