An established construction firm is seeking a Project Engineer Doors, Frames, Hardware to support complex commercial building projects in Amarillo, TX. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on commercial construction experience who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and design teams to keep projects moving smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in project planning by preparing scope packages, monitoring schedules, and supporting cost structure organization
• Act as a liaison between field teams, subcontractors, and design professionals to resolve coordination issues and keep work on track
• Review and process submittals, RFIs, change documents, and other critical project documentation
• Support onsite construction by interpreting drawings, assisting with layout, and ensuring alignment between architectural, structural, and MEP systems

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial construction experience (doors, frames, and hardware experience strongly preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent field experience)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and project management/design tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, or Navisworks
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to work in high-pressure onsite environments

Salary: $87K - 151K (DOE)

Bonus: 2 bonuses (Individual and Company) and SAU (stock appreciation units)

Per Diem: $160 a day (non-taxable - Hoffman picks-up) - will start receiving once boots on ground (to help cover cost to get on getting to site) - (NO company vehicle and NO gas card)

Location: Amarillo, TX - 100% onsite
