Project Engineer

Project Engineer Industrial / Water & Wastewater Equipment

We are seeking a Project Engineer to oversee client designs and manage projects from initial design through commissioning of industrial and water/wastewater equipment. This role requires strong design experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision. The Project Engineer will interact directly with clients, contractors, and service personnel to ensure projects meet specifications and are completed on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee project orders from design through commissioning
• Review and approve performance calculations to ensure compliance with client requirements
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and service personnel as needed
• Prepare and modify design drawings using Inventor or SolidWorks
• Schedule, prioritize, and track project tasks to ensure timely completion
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams
• Ensure projects are executed efficiently and meet quality standards

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology (BSMET)
• 3+ years of design experience for industrial or water/wastewater equipment
• Proficiency with Inventor or SolidWorks
• Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and work independently

Ideal Candidate:

• Junior to mid-level design engineer with 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Comfortable working directly with clients and collaborating across small teams
• Capable of handling multiple projects and tasks without extensive supervision
• Experience with industrial handling equipment, conveyors, or wastewater systems is a plus
