Job Title: Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager with 2+ years of experience in underground construction, ideally in civil sitework involving wet utilities such as storm, water, and sewer systems. This role provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, shadow experienced Project Managers, and grow into a leadership role with a well-established contractor.
Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and managing sitework and utility projects.
  
• Support project documentation, cost tracking, and reporting.
  
• Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance.
  
• Help monitor project progress, safety, and quality standards.
  
• Provide problem-solving support for field operations.
  

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in underground construction (storm/water/sewer preferred).
  
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred (experience may substitute).
  
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
  
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow into a Project Manager role.
