Project Contract Analyst - Washington DC

VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a Project Contract Analyst to support our NAVSEA customer. This is a hybrid position reporting onsite 3 days a week in Washington, DC. Responsibilities:

• Developing high-level spend plans
• Implementing business process improvement
• Developing senior-level financial or logistical briefings
• Tracking and providing status updates
• Processing a wide variety of tasks to completion, identifying and correcting data errors, and providing recommended solutions
• Developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
• Assisting with budget reports
• Maintaining action trackers to ensure tasks are completed correctly, comprehensively, and on time and providing maintenance of financial trackers
• Participating in various meetings
• Assisting with the monitoring of performance, cost, and schedule impacts, coordinating across multiple programs and organizations
• Reading contracts and writing contracting modifications (MODS)
• Updated technical instructions
• Create document packages for approval
• Reviewing and making updates to Statement of Works (SOW)
• Collecting input for SOWs and CDRLs
• Reviewing invoices
• Updating contract status reports

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 0-4 years of experience with the DoD acquisition contracts
• Experience working with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR)
• Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations System (DFARS)
• Knowledge of program management applications, such as cost, performance, or scheduling
• Ability to be proactive and work independently in a team environment
• Ability to develop, document, and implement new processes and brief leadership
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills
• Experience with using Adobe Pro and Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
• Active DoD Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a Business field
• Experience working with NAVSEA
• Experience with Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE)
• Familiarity with Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS)
• Experience in working with various Navy Waterfront entities, including shipyards, installation teams, and regional maintenance facilities

Salary at VISTA is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,000.00 to $90,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of VISTA's total compensation package for employees.
