Programmer / AI Engineer

Duration: 2+ months contract

Job Description:

• The successful candidate will develop AI agents and apply machine learning to enable delivery of robust results from proteomics experiments performed by the proteomics team.

• The successful candidate will develop a process, working with team members, to programmatically run R-scripts and python programs and develop AI agents and ML tools to expedite decision making and reduce processing time to turn processed data into reported results in a more efficient manner than currently done by team analysts.

Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will develop AI agents and apply machine learning to enable delivery of robust results from proteomics experiments performed by the proteomics team.

• The successful candidate will develop a process, working with team members, to programmatically run R-scripts and python programs and develop AI agents and ML tools to expedite decision making and reduce processing time to turn processed data into reported results

Experience:

• B.S/M.S. in Computer Science, AI Engineering , Data Statistics, or related fields

• 1-3 years of experience with a focus on AI/ML

Skills:

• Programming skills in R, Python and machine learning libraries

• Design of AI agents and architecture capable of autonomous decision making

• Perform feature engineering and development of accurate ML models

• Familiarity with statistics and large-scale scientific studies

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with diverse subject matter experts

Education:

• B.S/M.S. in Computer Science, AI Engineering , Data Statistics, or related fields with a focus on AI/ML
