As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As the Program Manager, you will ensure the smooth daily operations of the team, managing key vendor relationships, and supporting various initiatives across billing, marketing, and corporate domains.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google's products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$151,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of program management experience.
• Experience building and maintaining spreadsheets in Google Sheets or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in purchase order and contract lifecycle management.
• Experience with vendor management.
• Experience in website content management, publishing, or marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver program communications in collaboration with program stakeholders, including metrics progress, meeting notes, meeting AIs, decision/escalation logs, newsletters, and websites.
• Collect data relating to program progress from program stakeholders.
• Author program charter that addresses scope and timeline of basic program, specify program OKRs, and explain resource requirements/dependencies in collaboration with program stakeholders.
• Author a stakeholder map that specifies who is impacted and influenced by program outcome in collaboration with program stakeholders.
• Triage technical bugs and feature requests alongside engineering stakeholders for purposes of prioritization, resourcing, and tracking execution.
