Interim Director Of Programs
LHH is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Programs for our client in New York. This pivotal role will shape and oversee a diverse portfolio of educational, behavioral health, recreational, and social service initiatives. You'll be instrumental in designing and delivering impactful, mission-driven programs that meet the evolving needs of our clients and community. As a key member of the leadership team, you'll guide program strategy, mentor staff, and collaborate across departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals. You'll also serve as a clinical and programmatic expert, helping to maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and cultural sensitivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary programs that span clinical, behavioral health, educational, and recreational services.
- Partner with senior leadership and the board to evaluate and evolve program offerings.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and funding requirements.
- Drive clinical excellence and program effectiveness through strategic oversight.
- Recruit, develop, and support a high-performing team of program staff.
- Foster client and family engagement through inclusive program design and advisory committees.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support Northside's broader mission through cross-functional collaboration and special initiatives.
What You Bring:
- Proven leadership in program development and clinical service delivery.
- At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in behavioral health or related fields.
- Strong judgment, empathy, and commitment to client-centered care.
- Ability to navigate complex environments and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with data systems such as Power BI and Microsoft platforms.
- Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field preferred.
- Extensive experience in community-based mental health services, especially with diverse populations.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and NYC agencies such as DOHMH, DYCD, ACS, DOE, Head Start, and OCFS.
- Nonprofit experience and a passion for serving the community.
Pay Details: $135,000.00 to $175,000.00 per year
