Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Production Welder to join their team. As a Production Welder, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting the assembly and welding processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Production Welder

Location: Fayette, AL

Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00

Shift: 1st shift

What's the Job?

• Using jib crane, overhead crane, slings, or manual lifting to move components into proper position.
• Lay out, position, and align truck body components using work orders.
• Clamp and tack weld parts to secure them for welding, ensuring quality welds with a wire-feed welder.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment as assigned.
• Assist with floor preparation, frame assembly, side hanging, and various welding tasks to ensure precise assembly of truck bodies.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED, or related experience and/or training.
• Familiarity with welding processes preferred, with demonstrated ability to operate MIG welders.
• Ability to read and interpret measurements, orders, and angles accurately.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
