Production Associate Technician

Our client is seeking highly motivated Production Associate Technicians to join their dynamic team. You will play a crucial role as part of the production team, operating machinery and assisting in various areas of the plant. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, possess strong attention to detail, and prioritize safety, contributing to our organization's success.

Job Title: Production Associate Technician

Location: Winona, MN

Pay Range: $23.25 per hour

Schedule: 5:30 pm - 6:00 am, with occasional overtime

• Every other week: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday night
• Two weeks: Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday night

Key Responsibilities:

• Take initiative for personal safety performance while demonstrating a sincere concern for the safety of co-workers.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in the workplace.
• Adhere to all safety and health policies, participate in company-sponsored safety programs, and report any hazardous conditions.
• Set up extruders to operate products in compliance with standard operating conditions, minimizing downtime and product loss.
• Manage the setting of feed and product totes; learn to operate tote tumbling and screw/element oven equipment.
• Maintain accurate records including run logs, feed blends, and work orders while ensuring effective communication with upcoming operators.
• Clean equipment components, such as extruder barrels and screws, to prevent product contamination; familiarity with hand tools is a plus.
• Troubleshoot processing issues and equipment failures, addressing problems like surging, pellet size inconsistencies, and contamination.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Two years of manufacturing experience is required.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Strong attendance record.
• Willingness to learn and assist in various areas as required.
