Production Associate Technician

We're looking for motivated, detail-oriented Production Associates with strong technical aptitude and the drive to learn and grow. In this role, you'll play an important part in producing high-quality products while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Do
As a Production Associate, you'll focus in one of the following areas (with cross-training opportunities to expand your skills):
Coating

• Clip and secure lenses into baskets to begin the coating process.
  
• Operate coating machines, including loading chemicals and managing lens sectors.
  
• Inspect products to ensure optical and cosmetic accuracy.

Finishing

• Use beveling machines to remove sharp edges from lenses.
  
• Insert and align lenses into frames for proper fit.
  
• Operate edging machines to size and shape lenses.
  
• Prepare products for edging by marking and blocking.
  
• Tint lenses with accuracy.
  
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.

Surfacing

• Operate blocking machines to secure blocks and apply protective tape.
  
• Fine and polish lenses using surfacing equipment.
  
• Wash, dry, and inspect lenses; remove tape and blocks as needed.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
  
• 1+ years of related work experience (manufacturing or lab preferred).
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
  
• Ability to meet performance standards in a fast-paced production environment.
  
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the full duration of shifts.
  
• Work around chemicals; areas may be wet, dirty, or have strong odors.
  
• Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed.

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
