Production Supervisor Position

This Production Supervisor position contributes to the success of PepsiCo by directing the manufacturing frontline team to meet customer needs and achieve standards related to cost, line efficiencies, waste, safety and productivity. You will align the team to achieve production performance standards.

Responsibilities

1. This is a third shift position with normal hours of 9pm to 6am
2. Develops and leads a cross functional/departmental team to take on day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
3. Delivers effective change leadership to drive business changes while minimizing people impact
4. Motivates team members to achieve plan goals by having a regular presence on the plant floor
5. Applies knowledge of TPM processes, equipment and system capability for individual and facility standards
6. Sets and achieves performance standards with regards to safety, line utilization and quality
7. Tracks key performance indicators/costs, anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise achievement of financial targets
8. Oversees and ensures facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime
9. Builds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel
10. Ensures compliance with all health & safety regulations
11. Administers policies and procedures
12. This role may operate manufacturing equipment occasionally
13. This role requires you to work off-shift and weekend work.

Compensation and Benefits:

• The expected compensation range for this position is between $70,700 - $118,400.
• Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
• Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
• Paid time off in accordance with policy is subject to eligibility and includes vacation, holiday, sick, bereavement and parental leave.
• Vacation: for eligible full-time employees, a minimum of 15 paid vacation days.
• Holidays: for eligible full-time employees, the company provides 10 paid holidays annually.
• Sick Leave: for eligible full- time employees, 10 days (80 hours) of paid sick leave benefits are available for absences related to non-job-related injury. Sick leave benefit will be accrued during your first year at 1 day for each month worked in that calendar year.
• Bereavement Leave: In the event of a death of an immediate family member, full-time and part-time regular employees are eligible to receive up to three (3) consecutive working days with pay.
• Parental Leave: for eligible employees, the company offers paid parental leave for up to 6 weeks to allow for a time of bonding with their newborn or newly adopted child.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field.
• Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills - Proven front-line supervisory skills and ability to lead a team-based approach to decision-making
• A minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience preferred
• Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred, validated by your successful completion of a major improvement project.
• Demonstrated planning and organization skills
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
• Ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment
• This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Safe driving record strongly preferred
