Production Assembler

Location - Poway, CA

Shift - 1st Shift (6:00AM - 2:30PM Mon - Fri)

Pay Rate - $18.00/HR

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Assembler to perform basic and repetitive assembly tasks. You will interpret drawings and assembly instructions, operate production machines, and use hand tools to assemble products. The role involves detecting workmanship defects, reporting machine malfunctions, and preparing parts for painting and shipping. Maintaining a clean and safe environment and documenting production activities is essential.

• Interpret drawings and assembly instructions, both verbal and written.
• Operate production machines to produce parts in accordance with established standards.
• Use hand tools for product assembly.
• Detect and report workmanship defects and machine malfunctions.
• Prepare parts for painting and shipping, including gluing, taping, and cleaning.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Document production activities as requested.
• Perform tasks such as counting, packaging, labeling, or bagging produced parts or raw materials.
• Engage in small part mechanical assembly and occasional use of a microscope.

Essential Skills/Qualifications

• At least 6 months of production experience.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Capability to work individually or within a team.
• Quick learner with the ability to work independently.
• Adequate math, reading, and reasoning ability.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Manual dexterity to maintain daily/weekly quotas.
• Positive attitude and the ability to work overtime.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
