Process Development Engineering Intern

As a Process Development Engineering Intern, you will help drive Boston Scientific growth through development of world-class processes, technologies, and medical devices. Lead in delivering innovative solutions, enable new products and therapies through process capabilities, and deliver on committed projects. You could be placed in any of the following areas: Electrophysiology, Cardiac Rhythm Management Diagnostics, Endoscopy or Urology.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Connect Research & Design to Manufacturing through development of processes, technology, and systems
- Development of new processes and test systems that scale to high volume, reduce variation, and increase quality
- Partner with technology leaders to bring new capabilities to life
- Responsible for conformance with global process development procedures
- Responsible for the integrity and content of Process Plans with respect to materials used in processing and sequencing of tasks
- Responsible for Manufacturing Instructions and material and process implementation within the Product Development lifecycle
Required Qualifications:
- Must graduate between Fall 2026 Spring 2028
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or graduate level degree majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- Must be able to commit to one of the following full 12-week internship program periods: May 18th August 7th OR May 26th August 14th
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the Arden Hills, MN Boston Scientific Corporate location
Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with development software and tools (CAD, Programming, DOE, DMAIC, etc.)
