Position Title: PRN Clinical Technician (Medical Assistant)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical and administrative support, maintaining compliance with all company policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake.
• Triage patients, including checking vital signs, performing blood draws, and administering injections.
• Monitor patients and accurately document changes in their conditions, communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
• Assist with lab testing and phlebotomy activities.
• Support providers during minor procedures and physical examinations.
• Ensure timely preparation and maintenance of supplies and equipment.
• Facilitate patient consultations utilizing a Virtual Medicine Provider.
• Complete patient charts accurately and on time while coordinating referrals and pre-authorizations as necessary.
• Maintain a positive and professional work environment by fostering cordial relationships with clients and team members.
• Conduct drug and alcohol testing as required.
• Uphold the cleanliness and organizational standards of the clinic to create a professional environment for patients and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, EMT, or Paramedic, preferably in an urgent care setting.
• Active CPR certification required within 7 days of hire.
• Compliance with additional certifications (e.g., TB and IV Certification) as specified by state regulations within 60 days of employment.
