Overview

A San Mateo-based private equity firm is seeking a Business Development Analyst to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with a background in asset management or technology, and a strong track record in outbound sales and cold calling.

Responsibilities

• Source and qualify new investor leads through outbound sales efforts
• Conduct outreach to the wealth channel – family offices, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and high-net-worth individuals (U/HNWI)
• Build and maintain relationships with wealth managers and other key stakeholders
• Collaborate with senior leadership to refine outreach strategies and investor targeting
• Track engagement metrics and maintain CRM records
• Represent the firm at industry events and investor meetings

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of experience in outbound sales within asset management or technology (BDR, SDR, Account Executive roles)
• Proven success in cold calling and lead generation
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Familiarity with private equity, alternative investments, or wealth management channels is a plus
• Self-starter with a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
