Private Credit Senior Associate

A DMV-based Private Credit firm with over $1B in committed capital is seeking a Senior Associate to join its investment team. The firm focuses on middle-market companies across a variety of industries including business services, consumer, industrials, and manufacturing.

This is a high-impact opportunity to join a lean, collaborative team and take on a leadership role in deal execution and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead market and industry research to support investment theses
• Drive financial modeling, valuation, and return analyses for prospective investments
• Take ownership of due diligence processes, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
• Play a key role in investment committee preparation and presentation
• Oversee portfolio company performance, including financial monitoring and strategic initiatives
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to firm-wide process improvements

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in Investment Banking (M&A), Private Credit, or Private Equity, ideally with exposure to middle-market transactions
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree a plus
• Proven ability to lead deal processes and manage multiple workstreams
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills (modeling test required)
• Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience or interest in sectors such as business services, industrials, manufacturing, and/or consumer

Base pay range

$230,000.00/yr - $260,000.00/yr
