As the Principal Business Operations Lead, you will operate in a strategic leadership role focused on driving operational excellence and business growth by partnering with senior executives to manage planning, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives across a business unit. This person acts as a strategic advisor, spearheads operational reviews, creates data-driven solutions to complex challenges, and fosters cross-functional alignment to ensure the organization achieves its goals. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, financial management, process improvement, and high-level communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Execution:
1. Lead the annual strategic and operational planning processes for the organization.
2. Oversee the creation of 3-year vision plans and business unit strategies.
3. Translate the strategic vision into actionable priorities and executable plans.
• Performance Management & Reporting:
1. Drive the cadence and content for business, operational, and strategic reviews.
2. Monitor and facilitate the progress of executive goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
3. Develop and maintain management dashboards, executive review documents, and performance reports.
• Operational Excellence & Process Improvement:
1. Identify and implement long-term strategies and mechanisms for business improvement.
2. Drive the development and implementation of scalable processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
3. Foster continuous improvement and best practices across the organization.
• Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement:
1. Act as a "chief of staff" and strategic thought partner to a VP and senior leadership team.
2. Partner closely with Finance, HR, Legal, Operations, and other business units to drive initiatives.
3. Influence stakeholders at all levels and build strong relationships to drive consensus and support for strategic initiatives.
• Data Analytics & Problem Solving:
1. Synthesize complex data sets to surface key insights and trends for executive decision-making.
2. Utilize deep-dive analytics to identify operational gaps and opportunities.
3. Drive data-driven decision-making and develop solutions to key business challenges.
