Our lead teachers are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes. Teachers will plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment. Teachers work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.

What's it like to be a teacher at our School?

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
• 1-2 years of previous experience preferred
• Has completed state-required pre-service training
• Develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergencies. For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
• Meets background check eligibility

As part of a larger franchise system, in operation for 35 years, we are the premiere spot for early childhood learning for children from six weeks to six years old. The Goddard School uses the most current, academically endorsed methods to ensure that children have fun while learning the skills they need for long-term success in school and in life. All Goddard Schools are held to high standards of education, care, and safety.

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.75 per hour
