Preconstruction Manager
A local, well established General Contractor is searching for a Preconstruction manager . This is an amazing opportunity for experienced professionals in the field who are seeking career growth and are passionate about the construction industry. As a Preconstruction Manager, you will play a vital role in project planning, cost estimation, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities

Project Planning: Lead preconstruction efforts, including conceptual estimating, budgeting, and feasibility studies for commercial construction projects.
Budget Management: Develop detailed cost estimates, monitor budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering.
Scheduling: Collaborate with project teams to create and refine project schedules during the preconstruction phase.
Subcontractor Management: Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids. Build and maintain strong relationships with trade partners.
Collaboration: Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and internal project teams to ensure alignment on project scope, budget, and timeline.
Risk Analysis: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project objectives are met.
Process Improvement: Continuously improve preconstruction processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, or project management within the commercial construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and market pricing.
Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities.
