Powder Coat Painter-(Manufacturing)

Description

Prepare and apply powder coating to metal components and products according to specifications.

Ensure surfaces are clean, free from contaminants, and properly prepped for coating.

Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns, ovens, and curing systems.

Maintain proper coating thickness, quality control standards, and visual appearance of finished products.

Inspect finished products for defects and imperfections; perform touch-ups or rework as necessary.

Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Collaborate with the production team to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in powder coating, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of powder coating processes, materials, and equipment.

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct imperfections in finished products.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.

Familiarity with manufacturing safety protocols and the use of safety equipment.

Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
