As a Security Officer - Access Control - Weekends in Marana, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more.

As an Access Control Officer in a residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for residents and guests. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a sense of order, while your strong communication skills support positive interactions. You will also be responsible for managing access points and responding to inquiries, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the residential community to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, or unusual activity observed during patrols or while monitoring access.
• Collaborate with property management and other staff to address resident concerns and support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Arizona Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
