Job Description

As a Security Guard - Office Building Patrol in Sandy Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more.

As a valued member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. In this unarmed patrol position, your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. You will be the first point of contact for those on site, responding to inquiries and assisting with any security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What Youll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Observe for any unusual activity and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related activities and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
