CDL A Delivery Truck Driver

Job Summary:

Sysco is seeking reliable and dedicated CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers to join our team! In this role, you will safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer to deliver a variety of products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, and dry goods, to our valued customers on a scheduled route. As a driver, you will build positive relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and becoming familiar with their unique needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) and a clean driving record are required.

• The ability to effectively communicate in English, including understanding traffic signs and responding to official inquiries, is essential.

• This position requires handling touch freight, with the capability to lift, push, or move products weighing between 40-60 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds.

• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Requirements

• 1 year of customer delivery experience is preferred.

• 6 months of experience using a hand cart/hand truck is preferred.

• 6 months of food and beverage delivery experience is preferred.

• 2 years of consistent work history is preferred.
