As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol in Kissimmee, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a government location by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to everyone on site. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and maintain proficiency with a firearm as part of your daily duties. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Monday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Friday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
• Follow all protocols for handling and carrying firearms as required for armed patrol duties.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• A valid Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
