Job Description

We are seeking a skilled plumber to join our team, responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment according to specifications and building codes. This role requires collaboration with other trades and contractors to ensure the timely completion of work.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment according to specifications and building codes.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams.

• Collaborate with other trades and contractors to ensure timely completion of work.

• Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure compliance with safety standards.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 3 years of plumbing experience, preferably in commercial construction.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale commercial plumbing projects.

• Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Med gas certification is a plus.

• OSHA 10 certification.

Work Environment

The role is based in a new construction environment, working in the elements. The workweek is Monday to Saturday, with 40 to 60 hours per week and potential opportunities for overtime.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miami, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
