Plant Manager

The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility, including production, maintenance, and safety, to achieve company goals and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations, ensuring production, maintenance, and safety standards are met.
• Lead and manage a team of 40+ employees, ensuring efficient and effective workflows.
• Implement and promote continuous improvement strategies within the plant.
• Troubleshoot industrial equipment and perform necessary repairs.
• Lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.
• Oversee the installation of new lines and equipment within the facility.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years in a Plant Manager or Production Manager role.
• Experience overseeing and leading a team of 40+ employees.
• 5+ years of proven mechanical aptitude, including troubleshooting and repairs.
• Proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in leading the installation of new lines and equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Working knowledge of managing a P&L statement.
• Knowledge of the protein bar industry.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, Illinois.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
