The Food Operations Manager 2 position is at Holy Cross Hospital located in Chicago, IL.

Employees at our healthcare sites play a crucial role in enhancing patient experience and well-being.

What You'll Do

1. Have oversight of day-to-day operations;
2. Create and deliver innovative and enriching cafe experiences for patients, family and staff daily;
3. Oversee Sodexo's Patient Dining Program and daily meal rounding inclusive of service recovery;
4. Collaborate with clinical, food service and interdisciplinary teams to enhance the patient experience;
5. Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies;
6. Mentor, develop, and retain managers and frontline staff;
7. Develop and maintain client and customer relationships.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience - 2 yearsMinimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
