Title: Plant Manager - DAIRY MANUFACTURING
Location: Littlefield, TX (79339)
Salary: $140,000-$160,000/Year + Bonus and Relocation
Requirements: 5+ Years in a Plant Manager role, specifically with Dairy/Dry Mix experience will be required for this role. An past in leadership, continuous improvement & working with Quality Systems will also be a need for this role. A Bachelor Degree in Food Science, or business is highly desired for this role.
What You Will Be Doing
Plant Operations: Review daily inventories and plan daily production. Conduct daily staff meetings to coordinate daily plant activities. Review daily load out schedule and coordinate with staff and milk movement personnel. Review daily production efficiencies and production reports. Review companies KPI's, plant loss and assist in setting goals. In the absence of the Operations Manager, reports directly to the Director of Operations. The plant manager is a back-up for the Operations Manager.
Plant Quality: Review microbiology test results daily and direct further investigation of high counts. Review list of any out-of-spec. product with Food Safety Quality Assurance (FSQA) Manager. Review all product C of A's.
Plant Audits: Check each department daily. Check employee GMP's. Review daily report of audits. Assist Quality Assurance with all plant audits.
Industrial Wastewater: Check wastewater facility daily. Review daily reports as required.
Sanitation: Review CIP records daily. Review random equipment checks with chemical
