Position Details:

• Role : Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist
• Location : Near Avondale, Colorado
• Shift : 24-hour on-call (7 a.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Friday, every other week)
• Start Date : December 6, 2024, with ongoing bi-weekly shifts available through early April
• Required Procedures : General GI procedures, including ERCP
• Support Staff : Backup physician available for concurrent calls at nearby facilities

Key Requirements:

• Board Certification : Required in Gastroenterology or Board-Eligible with recent Internal Medicine certification
• Licensure : Active Colorado medical license and DEA registration required
• Experience : ERCP experience required, with a clean malpractice and background record preferred
• Availability : Must be available for the specified call dates through April

Scheduling and Coverage Dates:

• Weekly Call Schedule : Friday (7 a.m.) - Friday (7 a.m.) bi-weekly, starting December 6, 2024, with multiple coverage dates through April
