We are seeking a skilled Cardiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Washington State , in a location near Garfield. This is an excellent chance to work with a dedicated team in a dynamic setting, providing both inpatient and outpatient care.

• Start Date : ASAP
• End Date : Ongoing
• Schedule :
  • 7-day inpatient blocks, one week per month.
  • Shifts run from Thursday 7 AM to Wednesday 5 PM .
  • Night call responsibilities will vary.
• Patient Load : Approximately 18 patients per shift.
• Setting : Both outpatient and inpatient cardiology practice.

• Board Certification : Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology.
• Certifications : ACLS and BLS are required.
• Licensure : Active Washington State medical license (WA only).
• Credentialing Timeframe : Estimated 30 days.
• Must be eligible for hospital/surgery center privileges.

• Core Skills : Non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), ICU care, and outpatient/inpatient cardiology.
• Preferred Skills : PA catheter placement and diagnostic cardiac catheterization.
• Not Required : Interventional cardiology procedures or electrophysiology.

• EMR System : Epic.
• Support Staff : Robust team including RNs, MAs, and office staff.
• Facility is stroke-certified, providing a high standard of acute care.

• Travel and lodging recommendations are available.
• Malpractice insurance provided by the vendor.
• Temporary privileges can be arranged for quicker onboarding.
