We are seeking a qualified and experienced Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens position in central Arkansas, near Donaldson. • Position Type : Locum Tenens (Physician - Cardiac Anesthesiology)
• Location : Near Donaldson, AR
• Start Date : February 17, 2025
• End Date : Ongoing (no specified end date)
• Shifts : Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM
• Call Requirements : None for weekday or weekend shifts
• Estimated Shifts : Specific date blocks available in 2025 (e.g., February 17-21, March 17-21, May 19-23)

• Provide anesthesia care for cardiovascular (CV) cases, including advanced procedures such as ECMO and thoracic cases.
• Perform and interpret Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE).
• Supervise a team of CRNAs (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists) specialized in cardiovascular cases.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to deliver high-quality perioperative care.

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology (Cardiac preferred)
• Active Arkansas medical license required
• Clean malpractice and background record preferred
• COVID vaccination required
• Ability to perform advanced CV anesthesia procedures, including TEE and epidurals
• Experience with CV cases is essential, excluding transplants
• Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred but not required

• Holiday Pay : 1.5x regular hourly rate
• Malpractice coverage must be included in submitted rates.

• Lodging, airfare, and rental car reimbursement available based on set guidelines
• Mileage reimbursement at the IRS standard rate

• CV must include all locums history and relevant experience
• Must provide availability, NPI/license number, malpractice/background documentation, and references if available.
