nAs a Float Phlebotomist, you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience. You will be working with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/locations. This unique role will allow you to develop your skills and set you up for opportunities and continuous growth within the organization. If you like variety, this role is perfect for you!
nWork Schedule: PRN working on an as needed basis; will work 4-8 hour shifts between 10:00PM & 6:30AM.
nFloat Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement
nWork Location: Will cover at locations in Warren, MI and Madison Heights, MI
nBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. nJob Responsibilities:

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
n n - n
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
n n - n
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
n n - n
Process billing information and collect payments when required
n n - n
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
n n - n
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
n n - n
Provide superior customer service to all patients
n n - n
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
n n - n
Travel to additional sites when needed
n n
Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
n n - n
Previous experience as a phlebotomist
n n - n
May consider candidates without on the job experience that have completed a phlebotomy training program
n n - n
Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportation
n n - n
Must be at least 21 years' old
n n - n
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
n n - n
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
n n - n
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
n n - n
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
n n - n
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
n n - n
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
n n
