Our client, University of Michigan, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their dedicated clinical healthcare team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be an essential part of supporting patient care and medication management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to healthcare excellence, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Ann Arbor, MI

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr.

Shift: Monday-Friday; 9:00am-5:00pm

What's the Job?

• Preparing medications for patients who are picking up prescriptions
• Entering pharmacy orders into MiChart system for recordkeeping
• Dispensing medications using automated equipment
• Measuring, mixing, and labeling medications accurately
• Recording amounts and dosages of medications as required

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Preferred but not required Licensed Pharm Tech in the state of Michigan
• Experience with QS1 pharmacy system
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
• Minimum of 1 year customer service experience
• Ability to comply with Michigan Medicine immunization requirements (MMR, TDaP, Varicella, Influenza, and TB)
