Pharmacy Technician - Data Intake (Onsite) West Sacramento, CA

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team in West Sacramento, CA! This is an excellent opportunity for licensed pharmacy professionals who are passionate about patient care, accuracy, and teamwork. You’ll play a key role in the data intake and processing of prescriptions within a supportive, high-performance environment.

As a Data Intake Pharmacy Technician, you’ll support pharmacists in the preparation, distribution, and record-keeping of medications while ensuring full compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards.

Locatio n: West Sacramento, CA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:30pmto 10pm(Weekends/OT possible based on business needs)

Candidates should be prepared for schedule changes based on business needs, could change to Sunday to Thursday shift with Sunday hours being 8:30am to 5pm- rest of week would be at the 1:30pm to 10pm schedule

Pay Rate : $26/hour (based on experience, education & location)

Work Type: Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and process new prescriptions accurately and efficiently.

• Verify patient information and physician authorization.

• Process prescription refills and handle third-party claims adjudication.

• Perform dosage calculations and conversions (metric/apothecary).

• Assist with inventory control, data entry, and phone support.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workstation.

• Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Active California Pharmacy Technician License.

• 1–3 years of experience in a data intake or retail pharmacy environment.

• Ability to type at least 35 words per minute.

• Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills.

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. if support is needed in fulfillment.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and data entry processes.

• Excellent attention to detail and sense of urgency.

• Enthusiastic, proactive work ethic with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety.
