Pharmacist (Ambulatory)

Prepare and dispense medications. Review prescriptions for accuracy and safety. Monitor patient history and ensure safe drug administration. Answer patient questions. Ensure the quality and safety of medications. Manage inventory and maintain regulatory compliance. Organize workflow and documentation.

Essential Skills: Proficiency in pharmacy operations, including data entry and dispensing. Experience with order entry and prior authorization processes. Strong customer service skills. Experience in pharmacy benefits management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution. Active Minnesota Pharmacist License is mandatory. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification, which can be renewed or acquired upon acceptance of the position.

Work Environment: The role is based in a long-term care pharmacy operating from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The environment promotes a collaborative and supportive team atmosphere.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $66.00 - $66.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
