Apex Systems, a World-Class Technology Solutions Provider, is seeking a Performance Engineer on behalf of one of our largest financial industry clients. Please note that only qualified candidates will be contacted. We cannot support C2C hiring.

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: 12 months+

Pay Rate Range: $68-$73/hr.

This position is responsible for key performance-related tasks for new lines of business in Markets. Independently managing tasks (LRE scripting, test strategy planning, testing, monitoring, profiling, reporting) from project initiation to completion. Looking for someone with extensive CITRIX protocol experience. Looking for someone with click and script protocol experience Leading performance defect triage meetings and driving solutions.

Requirements: The candidate(s) must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills; and be able to demonstrate those skills to a varying level of internal external resources, to include senior leadership. The candidate should be self-motivated and be able to detect a major concern that should be escalated to management for resolution. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.

• Ability to work or lead a technical team from diversified geography and culture to complete strategic planning, mission-critical design and development work.
• Strong results-oriented awareness, with an optimistic and enterprising attitude.
• Experience in diagnosing complex technical issues
• JMeter experience
• Leverage profiling tools (i.e. Dynatrace) to analyze and define performance characteristics of an application, recommend enhancements, and trouble shoot bottlenecks.
• Performance Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in LoadRunner and Citrix protocol is mandatory.
• Experience using Citrix ICA protocol and configurations.
• Practical experience with Agile tools and methodologies, including Horizon JIRA and Horizon Confluence.
• Self-motivated with the ability to identify critical concerns that require escalation to management for resolution.
• Strong results-driven mindset with a positive and proactive approach.
• Proven expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
