Position Summary:

As a vital member of our pediatric clinic, you will provide compassionate care to our young patients under the guidance of a registered nurse or physician. You will work within your licensed scope to ensure each child's well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in assessing patients and promoting their health and safety.
• Administer medications and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, self-care, and available resources.
• Maintain a constant state of alertness and adhere to safety protocols.
• Perform point of care testing as per established guidelines.
• Execute other duties as assigned to support patient care.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program or equivalent educational pathway.

Experience:

• No prior experience required; we welcome recent graduates!

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Frequent standing, walking, and lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.
• Occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
• Must have good vision, hearing, and the ability to recognize odors.

Licensure & Certifications:

• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from American Heart Association.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by a Compact State.

Schedule: Day shift, typically 40 hours a week.
