About The Job

In gTech Users and Products (gUP), our mission is to advocate for Google’s users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem. As a Partner Engineer, you will work on driving new partner integrations within Gemini, ensuring a frictionless partner experience, and improving existing partner/user experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive new partner integrations within Gemini, ensuring a frictionless partner experience. Improve existing partner/user experience and grow user value.
• Contribute to the evolution of Gemini through Large Language Model-based solutions/processes (e.g., tools/colabs) for partner schema ingestion, data preparation, and quality iterations (prompt engineering, running evals, loss bucket analysis, SFT data points).
• Influence product strategy and work with cross-functional teams to bring partner-facing features to market.
• Advocate seamless partner and user experience and advocate for user and partner success with Engineering and Product teams.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and latest machine learning research, tools, and techniques.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in an analytical role such as business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics.
• Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud technologies such as architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments or cloud data engineering.
• Experience working with systems (e.g., Linux, Unix).
