Join our team as a Part-Time Sales Associate, where you will play a key role in driving sales growth at your assigned store. Engage with customers in our Paint and Pro departments, generate leads, and implement effective sales and marketing strategies while delivering exceptional customer service.
In this role, you will also be responsible for addressing customer concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction, and staying informed about our product features. You will maintain high-quality visual standards for our merchandise.
You will work at Lowe's Store #0749, located at: 5428 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343. This part-time position will primarily involve weekday shifts, with a schedule that may change based on business requirements.
As a Sales Associate, you will:
- Ensure customer satisfaction through outstanding sales service.
- Assist customers both in-person and via phone, identifying their needs and recommending suitable products.
- Build trust and lasting relationships with both wholesale and retail customers.
- Maintain accurate work order files and formulas.
- Tint and mix products to meet customer specifications.
- Stock shelves and create product displays.
- Keep store equipment clean.
- Ensure a well-stocked and presentable store environment.
- Stay knowledgeable about all products for effective customer recommendations.
- Adhere to inventory control procedures.
- Train Lowe's associates on product knowledge and application methods.
- Provide in-store support for customer needs related to the Pro Desk, Lowe's Pro Sales, and paint program execution.
Sales responsibilities include:
- Promoting and representing Sherwin-Williams brand standards and product strengths.
- Processing sales transactions accurately and consistently, following company policies.
- Meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals while assisting Sales Representatives in generating leads.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.
- Able to retrieve materials from shelves and lift weights frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 70 lbs.
- Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- One (1) year of experience in retail or customer service.
- Previous experience selling paint and paint-related products.
- Experience with tinting and mixing equipment.
- Valid, unrestricted Driver's license.
