Outbound Forklift Operator

Join our team as an Outbound Forklift Operator where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will operate fork trucks and stock pickers to process and fulfill outbound orders while maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently process all outbound orders using forklifts or stock pickers.
• Stock all rack merchandise and organize surplus from various zones effectively.
• Set down rack surplus appropriately for seamless order fulfillment.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks involving forklifts as required.
• Replenish outbound totes as needed.
• Assist in the upkeep of mezzanine zones to ensure operational efficiency.
• Adhere to safety standards while identifying and addressing unsafe practices.
• Experienced team members may serve as trainers, responsible for executing the DC target training program and guiding new employees.
• Complete any other tasks as directed.

Qualifications

Required:

• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Proficient in operating fork trucks and power equipment.
• Familiarity with warehouse parts lines and surplus merchandise locations.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to quickly and accurately read and match numerical and alphabetical characters.

Desired:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with various types of power equipment.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
