Orthopedics Physician

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon to work locum shifts in Carlsbad, New Mexico (NM) Starting January 1st, or as soon as credentialed, the role offers ongoing work each month with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Orthopaedic Surgery role:

Schedule: 3 days in clinic, 2 OR days weekly (OR days flex based on procedural volume)

Clinic Volume: 20-25 patients per day

Call Coverage: 7 days on 7 days off, (every other week)

Call Expectations: Minimal call backs; most patients admitted by hospitalists and managed the following day

Support Staff: Full clinic staff and anesthesia support available

Trauma Level: Level III

REQUIRED:

NM state license; active

Board Certified Orthopedic Surgery
