Material Handler

Our client, a leading organization in warehouse and logistics operations, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and distribution. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, safety-consciousness, and teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Operator I

Location: Covington, GA

Pay Range: $17.50/hour

Shift: 1st Shift (Monday - Friday, 9am to 5:30pm)

What's the Job?

• Unload inbound trucks, including deliveries from vendors and other departments
• Load outbound trucks for shipments and deliveries
• Locate, retrieve, and replenish products using FEFO methodology
• Operate forklift to move pallets and materials within the warehouse
• Ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently following department procedures

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience operating Cherry picker and Reach lift forklifts
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform basic math and solve practical problems
