Office Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee administrative operations and support accounting functions within our client’s organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth day-to-day office activities and maintaining accurate financial records. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $22 and $27/hr. depending on experience and education.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily administrative operations including scheduling, correspondence, and document management.
- Coordinate office supplies, vendor relationships, and facility maintenance.
- Support HR functions such as onboarding, timekeeping, and employee record maintenance.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and expense tracking.
- Maintain filing systems for contracts, permits, and compliance documentation.
- Liaise with property managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely communication and task completion.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Monitor project timelines and assist with reporting progress to stakeholders.
- Maintain a clean conference room and common space in the office.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down for special events or meetings.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office management.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
