Schedule: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $22.54 - $33.81 per hour, based on relevant experience.

About the Position: Join our team of dedicated professionals in providing exceptional care to our therapy patients! As an Occupational Therapy Support Specialist, you will work under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and support recovery. Your contributions will play a vital role in improving the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising therapist using effective modalities.
• Continuously monitor and communicate patients' responses, making adjustments as necessary in collaboration with the therapist.
• Thoroughly document all services provided and the patient's progress.
• Educate patients and their families or caregivers about recovery, discharge planning, and the use of adaptive equipment.
• Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment while working independently and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire.
