Your role will involve working hands-on in a compassionate 1:1 ABA setting with children aged 18 months to 8 years, using ethical and evidence-based ABA techniques in a supportive center-based environment. With exceptional supervision and continuous training, you will be making a real difference every day!

Your Responsibilities as a Behavior Therapist:

• Apply: Implement one-on-one ABA therapy methods to help children with Autism achieve their fullest potential by following treatment plans and collecting relevant data.
• Support Development: Engage children in early childhood through enjoyable therapeutic activities.
• Collaborate: Work with a dedicated team to enhance treatment quality, maintain safety, and ensure an enjoyable working experience.
• Engage: Interact with children through play, movement, and imitation—whether running, singing, or reading, your enthusiasm will create a joyful atmosphere.
• Communicate: Build effective, positive connections with team members, families, and supervisors to coordinate activities and celebrate progress.

Job Requirements:

• Physical Ability: Lift and move children (up to 30 lbs), bend, squat, and engage actively within a fast-paced environment.
• Environment Maintenance: Create a tidy, organized therapy space that enhances children's experiences.
• Multitask: Manage various tasks, decisions, or conversations while ensuring safety and prioritization for everyone involved.
• Team Support: Work cohesively with the center and travel to nearby locations if required.
• Transport Requirements: Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Age and Education: Must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent.

You will complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment, including a 40-hour training course, hands-on competency assessment, and passing the exam.

Pay Ranges Based on Experience & Education:

• Associates/High School: $20.00 - $24.00
• Bachelor's: $20.00 - $25.50
• Master's: $20.00 - $28.00

Your first raise is available after certification as RBT, typically within 21 days.

Experience in these fields is a plus:

• Childcare (nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, tutor, daycare, etc.)
• Mental health professionals (QMHP, behavioral health technicians)
• Camp counselors, volunteers, or Sunday school teachers
• Degrees in teaching, special education, sociology, psychology, or related fields
• Experience as paraprofessionals or direct support assistants
• Passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Eagerness to join a caring, collaborative culture
