Position Summary
- Assists in carrying out occupational therapy treatment programs for inpatients and outpatients under the direction and supervision of licensed occupational therapists.
- Performs technical work in all phases of patient treatment.
- Assists in maintaining safety and cleanliness of the patient care area, supplies and equipment in optimum condition to facilitate smooth operations.
- Participates effectively with other members of the health care team for maximum patient benefit and efficiency.

Experience/Educational Requirements
- Associates degree from an Occupational Therapist Assistant program
- Professional clinical experience not required. A minimum of one year of experience as an occupational therapist assistant is preferred.
- Licensure by the Executive Council of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners as an Occupational Therapist Assistant is required.
- Must have a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.
