Join our dedicated team as a part-time Nurse Practitioner in the Ob/Gyn Generalist Division, where your expertise will make a significant impact on patient care. This role offers 30 hours per week at our facility located at 391 Myrtle Ave, 2nd Floor.
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to our patients, demonstrating advanced knowledge and skills in specialty nursing. You will assess and manage patients, order diagnostic tests, implement treatment plans, and collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure family-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, physical examinations, and collect essential clinical data.
- Diagnose medical conditions, administer treatments, perform minor surgeries, and interpret medical test results.
- Maintain detailed patient medical records and ensure compliance with billing practices.
- Lead clinical team efforts, ensuring efficient patient flow and mentorship for new staff and students.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner and certifications in Advanced Trauma Life Support and Basic Life Support required upon hire.
- Ability to adapt to computerized medical record systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
Physical Demands:
- Constantly engaging in activities such as standing, walking, talking, and feeling.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, and reaching.
- Occasional climbing, balancing, and crawling.
