HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is a 488-bed, full-service acute care facility in Miami-Dade County. The hospital recently completed an expansion featuring four advanced operating rooms, including a hybrid OR for cardiac and vascular procedures. A recent women's services upgrade added a private 25-bed NICU with ocean views as well as enhanced labor and postpartum units. The hospital offers specialized services in robotic surgery, orthopedics, cardiac care, stroke treatment, and wound healing. Mercy Hospital blends cutting-edge medicine with compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Labor and delivery management
• Coverage for unassigned OB patients
• In-house support for general OB and emergent GYN
• 24/7 in-house anesthesia and Level 3 NICU support
• New 25-bed NICU with private spaces and ocean views
• No billing or coding responsibilities
• Clinical leadership support and a collaborative team environment
• Access to TeamHealth's national network of OB/GYN hospitalists

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Willingness to participate in building and shaping a new hospitalist program
• Full-time availability with 6 to 8 in-house 24-hour shifts per month
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
